Business Development Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, tenacious and professional person who is looking for a new challenge. We are seeking a passionate business development manager to accelerate our organic growth.

Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch our asset management solutions to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with existing and prospective clients.

Your duties as Business Development Manager will include:

  • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
  • Planning and preparing presentations
  • Generating new business by creating sales opportunities in order to achieve and improve upon sales target
  • Ensuring all customers receive the highest level of customer service
  • Understanding a client’s needs through a consultative approach
  • Work with technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
  • Writing sales reports
  • Strategic planning
  • Identify business trends and new products and or services

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Confidence & ability to work with individuals up to Director level
  • Previous experience within a sales / business development role is essential
  • Be able to demonstrate flexibility & dedication
  • Confident presentation skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Enthusiasm and a winning mentality
  • A strong focus on providing the best customer experience
  • Strong Networking and negotiation skills
  • Previous experience in  FM/Asset Management (desired)
  • Programme/project experience (desired)
  • Hold a full UK driving license
